VMworld 2018: Be a Change Agent, Not a Ticket Agent

  • Are you tired of the endless queue of trouble tickets that clog up your inbox?  Do you want to take your virtual environment to the next level?  If you’re ready to start leading the charge to successful digital transformation, then it’s time for you to learn what NetApp has been doing.  At VMworld 2018, NetApp is excited to share new capabilities that offer performance predictability, reduced operational complexity, and broad cloud integrations that will change the way you think about your virtual environment.  Learn how you can put these all to work for you, giving you the flexibility to be a data-driven change agent in your organization.

Many of our customers are discovering that the ability to deliver a private cloud on-premises is becoming a key strategic initiative.  We’re making it even easier for you to build, deploy, and manage your private cloud infrastructure. NetApp is pleased to announce a NetApp Verified Architecture (NVA) for building a VMware Private Cloud on NetApp HCI.  Using known and trusted VMware tool sets, the NVA provides a blueprint for a private cloud that delivers enterprise scale for competing mixed workloads. At VMworld, you can have a private demo of how this works.  Just ask your NetApp rep to schedule a time for the demo before you go or stop by booth 1036 while you’re at VMworld and ask if you can see more.

While you’re investigating the portfolio of NetApp products to support your VMware environments, be sure and learn how VMware administrators connect to the data services found in ONTAP with the latest release of Virtual Storage Console (VSC).  The VSC 7.2 release includes enhancements to the performance dashboard view, with datastore and VM metrics prominently displayed for quick reference.

For customers that are using or considering VMware Cloud on AWS (VMC), you can’t miss talking to NetApp about connecting a Cloud Volumes ONTAP instances to the VMC instances that are hosted on AWS.  When your virtual machine data requires a set of enterprise-class services when being stored in the cloud, customers trust ONTAP for those services.  Now the VMs you’ve moved to AWS can use Cloud Volumes ONTAP as the data management environment in the cloud.

Learn about all this and more when you visit NetApp at booth 1036.  In the mini theater you will hear speaking sessions about using HCI for private cloud and for end user computing, using VSC and ONTAP tools to deliver a range of virtual applications, and combining the VMware Cloud on AWS with Cloud Volumes ONTAP.  Plus, we’ve included some guest speakers from NVIDIA to talk about 3D visualization applications and Veeam to introduce backup solutions with NetApp HCI.

Are you looking for a closer connection with NetApp leaders at VMworld to answer your tough questions?  Through the VIP Program, we can set up a casual, no-pressure 45- to 60-minute meeting for you to meet business executives and technical subject matter experts.  A few slots still remain, but you need to register today at http://bit.ly/VIP-mtg-VMworld.

Finally, while you’re circulating around the event, you can hear NetApp content and speakers as they present at a few other sessions:
