How do I remove a disk from a disk group in VxVM?

# vxdg -g engdg rmdisk engdg02

Where engdg is the disk group and engdg02 is the disk you want to remove. If subdisks are on the disk you want to remove, you will see an error, if you want to remove the disk even with subdisk on it use the "-k" option to vxdg.

If you want to remove the disk completely from VM, do:

# vxdiskunsetup c2t2d0s2
