Deport disk groups if you want to use the disks for something else, or if you want to move them to another system.

Stop applications

Stop all volumes on disk group

# vxvol -g diskgroup stopall

deport the diskgroup

# vxdg deport diskgroup

Deporting a disk group disables access to it only
