How do I check if veritas enterprise administrator is running?

The Veritas Enterprise Administrator is a GUI which manages Volume Manager and Veritas File System objects. There has to be a daemon running in order to use it, the daemon is called vxsvc, to check to see if it is running, run the following command:

# vxsvcctrl status
Current state of server : RUNNING

The other options are stop and restart
