To check the crash dump configuration on later solaris versions run the following:

# dumpadm
      Dump content: kernel pages
       Dump device: /dev/dsk/c1t0d0s4 (dedicated)
Savecore directory: /var/crash/ap21cnedc288 (minfree = 20000KB)
  Savecore enabled: yes
