How do I convert a file system to use largefiles in hp-ux?

To convert a hp-ux file system that supports the largefile feature, to use largefiles do the following:

• Unmount the file system in question

and run the following:

# fsadm -F vxfs -o largefiles /dev/vg00/rlvol1

Note: Remember to change /etc/fstab to add the largefiles option when mounting the file system.
