  • To find the versions of software built into the kernel under hp-ux run the following:

    # what /stand/vmunix | grep -i hp_apa
HP Auto-Port Aggregation (APA): HP_APA: B.11.23.05 Jul 26 2004 17:39:07
$Revision: libhp_apa.a: Jul 27 2004 10:41:46 $

    This will also list the versions for other software installed and bound to the kernel
