    Notes:

    • The xm command was replaced starting Xen version 4.1.0, Xen is currently on 4.8, with testing on 4.9. The xm command was designed to work with the xen daemon - xend, which was also replaced started 4.1.0, with libxl.

    • The current management command is xl used with the libxl toolstack.

    • Most Xen commands require root level privileges to run.

    • Xen is used for AWS Cloud and also used at Rackspace Cloud.

    • Configuration file for the domain controls what happens on crash, reboot & shutdown.
