How do i expand (add brick) a replicated glusterfs volume?

Expanding the brick in this context refers to adding another brick on another gluster cluster node.

Probe the additional node, from the first node.
# gluster peer probe server3 peer probe: success.
Check to see the additional node it seen
# gluster peer status Number of Peers: 2 Hostname: server2 Uuid: 47a5236c-a5bf-48d4-8b0a-610defb641a3 State: Peer in Cluster (Connected) Hostname: server3 Uuid: 3ab0f841-97c9-43db-bdfd-60551bce00eb State: Peer in Cluster (Connected)
Add the third brick to the gluster volume from server3
# gluster volume add-brick gv0 replica 3 server3:/data/brick1/gv0 volume add-brick: success
Check the status again
