As with all connected devices, a network is involved with network devices, assume there is a Local Area Network (LAN) in the office box. All device are only local, and not coming from the Internet. The office box in the diagram would also include a DNS server to look up the URL IP addresses and a proxy server to filter traffic and access. Yes, it gets complicated. This is only to demonstrate the basic concept of Apache HTTP Server software from a high level.

The users running a web browser on their laptops, enter a URL, e.g https://www.companywebsite.com in the browser, this gets directed to a server (of any type) Virtual, Container, or Physical that is running the Apache HTTP server software. The Apache HTTP server sends a web page back to the user's browser.
