VBoxManage: error: Cannot unregister the machine 'myvm8' while it is locked

$ VBoxManage unregistervm myvm8 --delete

Hi all, I'm getting this trying to delete a VM, tried vagrant destroy as well.

@hawksbill try looking for the /usr/lib/virtualbox/VBoxHeadless process with your user name, and "kill -9" it.

Then try your unregister again, if the vagrant was abruptly stopped, sometimes processes do not get stopped properly.
